The Sniper | Cigarette Experiment

Inspired by the previous book covers I wanted to do a few quick illustrations of the cigarette featured in the short story. Like the colours in the covers I worked with only reds, black and whites and like the simplicity of how they work. However, I'm not sure how I feel about the appearance of the watercolours and think it would work better with more block and clean colours. To do this I'm going to try using digital media (Photoshop & Tablet) and see how it compares.
