Laser Cut & Lino Prints

Continuing work on my short story illustrations I was playing around with the idea of possibly using Lino prints or laser cut prints for the front cover. The Lino prints definitely helped to simplify the front cover I'd designed previously and the laser cut print seemed to keep a lot of the details in, but simplified it in it's own way by using only one colour. I really liked the textures that these two forms of making produced but Is till feel they're too far away from my inside illustrations.
