The length of wedding dresses during the 1920's tended to be a lot more shorter compared to later/earlier versions. The shape of the dress would vary but most from the time period followed the patter of being shorter in the front and longer in the back, as well as, being similar to flapper style dresses and utilising the classic ankle length cut.

A notable figure to marry during this time period was Lady Elizabeth Bowes Lyon (The Queen Mother). She wore a shapeless gown that featured a straight silhouette.
